Wisconsin Democracy Campaign
Mission: To advocate for a real democracy that allows the common good to prevail over narrow interests by reinforcing and protecting the values of honesty, fairness, transparency, accountability, citizen participation, competition, and respect for constitutional rights and the rule of law.
The Wisconsin Democracy Campaign (WDC) specializes in tracking the money in Wisconsin politics and work for campaign finance reform and other democracy reforms so that everyone’s voice is heard and everyone’s vote is counted.

Current Democracy Work
WDC tracks the money in state politics, fights government corruption and works for campaign finance reform and open government. The organization hosts and maintains Wisconsin’s premier campaign finance database that lets voters track contributions from individual donors, PACs and other political committees. WDC’s mobile app enables citizens to follow the money in Wisconsin politics wherever they are, while its website widely shares news and opportunities to get involved.
Recent Successes
WDC has a long history of putting its groundbreaking research into action, whether to expose corruption in the state capitol or advocate for media reform.In 2013, WDC’s work was featured in four documentary films: Citizen Koch, Pay 2 Play, Wisconsin Rising and Wisconsin’s Mining Standoff.
