Carcinogenic fungal toxin contamination is 90% lower in insect-resistant GM corn than in nonmodified
Nina Fedoroff: "Contamination by carcinogenic fungal toxins,” for example, she notes, “… is as much as 90 percent lower in insect-resistant genetically modified corn than in nonmodified corn … because the fungi that make the toxins follow insects boring into the plants.
