Varun Arya is the CEO/MD/Director of the Aravali Institute of Management, which provides high-quality management education in the areas of advertising & publicity, developmental management, entrepreneurship, information technology, insurance & risk management, international business, public relations & corporate communications, R&D/technology management, retailing, sales & marketing, supply chain, telecom, travel & tourism, venture capital & credit management and other areas for organizational revitalization, and success and growth. He has been working in senior positions with some of the leading corporates and multinationals for 16 years, as well as serving as the Secretary of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad Alumni Association, and as the President of Indian Institute of Technology Delhi Alumni Association. The Aravali Institute of Management campus was built on 94.4 acres of high-salinity wasteland in the Jodhpur District, located far from any natural water source, on which nothing could grow or be constructed. The land has since been transformed to include fifteen lakes visited by migratory birds, 6000 trees over fifteen feet in height, sixty solar lights, three 2.5 acre lawns, 1500 plants, organic vegetables, and five classrooms for a proposed village school.
