More than half of all Americans say they are dissatisfied with their jobs the highest level of discontent in ten years. The decline in job satisfaction is found among workers of all ages, across all income brackets and regions. There is only a small difference in job satisfaction between low-income workers and those with a higher-than-average salaries " among householders earning $50,000 and up, 53% are satisfied with their jobs, compared to 45% of those earning less than $15,000 a year.
