Wild Boars in Italy found to be radioactive because of Chernobyl Nuclear Fallout
MILAN, Italy, March 8 — Traces of cesium-137 above the ruled thresholds have been detected in Italy’s boars, local reports said on Friday. Experts quoted by the ANSA news agency estimated that the radioactive isotope may derive from the Russian Chernobyl nuclear power plant, after the 1986 accident.
