Youth-Check in Austria reflects a responsibility for younger generations
Austria's laws now reflect a responsibility for the children: "No law shall be allowed that will harm future generations." In January 2013 Austria introduced a Youth-Check. Henceforth each proposed legislation has to be reviewed for its effects on the young generation. A 25-page questionnaire has been developed to determine each law's significance for children.
