Current statistics of nourishment, obesity, anemia, and top deadly diseases


The number of undernourished people has increased in the last five years, now at nearly one billion. In addition, more than a billion of us suffer the consequences of obesity and overweight, often coupled with mal-nourishment. Two billion are anemic. In the US, four of the top six most deadly diseases are food related.
