Windpower is becoming a larger part of the power grid
Wind power has experienced a 36% growth rate this year. With coal-fueled power on the decline, wind power begins to gain a greater share in the power grid. Germany reported receiving 40% of their electricity from wind, presenting a challenge for the U.S. to try to meet and exceed that percentage.
