In Rwanda, women make up 58% of the parliament

Rwanda: Lower House has 80 seats; 51 seats are women: 64% (2013); Upper House, Senate has 26 seats; 10 held by women: 38% Total seats, 106, out of which 61 are women. Thus, data from 2011 and 2013 elections for both Houses of parliament shows that women representation average is 58%.
