Potential 1.5 billion ha forest landscape restoration; Asia and Africa each hold 500 million ha

According to the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN), " there are approximately 1.5 billion hectares offering opportunities for forest landscape restoration with Asia and Africa holding the largest promise - each with about 500 Million hectares available for restoration and without impacting agricultural activities."
