26% increase in dangerously underweight kids


A study published in the July 2002 edition of the Journal of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine reported that during a three year (1999-2001) study, there was a 26% increase in dangerously underweight kids; a 46% increase in malnourished infants and toddlers and a 45% increase in food insecurity.
